Sileby Kruzsader is the
second foal bred by Sileby Arabians. He
was born in the early morning on the 18th October
2009. A very correct Grey (Born Bay) Colt.
My first thoughts when I saw him was that he had
lovely long straight legs, lovely shoulder and good
hindquarters with a nice dished head and big dark kind eyes.
Kruz was a very
curious little foal, he decided to explore the feed
shed when he was 3 days old much to his mothers
distress. From day one he has been extremely friendly and respectful around his
human companions and still to this day will often
require a pat and smooch before he goes off to eat
his dinner.
Kruz is very
intelligent and whilst he is too young to break in
we have been doing some natural horsemanship which
he has shown to be a quick learner and eager to
please. Kruz also loves to play and one of his
tricks is to rear on command which delights many
spectators. Many comment on his fantastic movement,
which is easy, free flowing and very long in stride.
Not just a great trot, he also has a long rocking
canter stride.
Kruz has been
purpose bred for endurance whilst also infusing
beauty. His Dam K.P. Bint Kazareh is a champion show
mare and also a proven performer winning in
showjumping and 160km endurance rides. His
pedigree is filled with many well known great horses
such as; Naadirah (through Nile & Nazli), Sankt
Georg (Sire of Simeon Safanad), Silver Moonlight,
Mustafa, Count Manilla, Al Karim Sirhalima, Moniet
El Nefous, Crystal Fire, Nefertiti, Fantasy,
Pirouette, the great Shahzada and many more.
Kruz will be
broken to saddle later in 2012.
I believe he
will make a fine stallion, at this point in time he
will be kept entire.
